Concurso Distrito Fundacional

Proposal developed for the 2024 National Founding District Competition, focused on the restoration and integration of the Alameda Promenade and the former San Vicente de Paul Asylum within an urban system that connects Central Park with O’Higgins Park. The project highlights the existing heritage and incorporates new urban dynamics, promoting an active, inclusive public space with a vision for the future.

From a contemporary perspective, the proposal aims to enhance the existing heritage while incorporating new urban dynamics, promoting an active, inclusive, and resilient public space. The project seeks to reinforce the identity of the founding area, balancing historical memory, citizen use, and future development.

Developed in collaboration with Estudio Trama, Estudio Primer Piso, architect Ignacio Gagliardi, and Topos Accesibles.
